Executive Leadership

Office of the Managing Director

Shaurya Ritwik is the Managing Director of the International Institute For Sustainable Finance (IISF), where he leads the institute's strategy, academic direction, and global partnerships. Over more than a decade, he has advised financial institutions, governments, and corporates across India, the Gulf Cooperation Council, and Southeast Asia, working at the intersection of capital markets, business strategy, trade, policy, and institutional development. He is the author of The Signal Economy, and serves concurrently as Strategic Director of the Solar Futures Alliance.

"I have spent over a decade watching institutions announce sustainability commitments faster than they could find people qualified to execute them. That gap between ambition and capability is what IISF was built to close. A crowded field already has enough credentials. What it doesn't have enough of is a standard rigorous enough that the CSFP designation means something specific: the person holding it can actually do the work. That standard is the only thing I intend to protect as this institution grows."
