CSFP™ Candidate Application

Registration is open for the January 2027 intake. Admission is by application. Complete the four sections below and the Institute will respond with a decision and, where admitted, instructions for payment.

Before You Apply

What the Application Requires

  • Entry requirements

    A bachelor's degree or equivalent tertiary qualification in any discipline. No prior qualification in finance and no minimum work experience.

  • Time to complete

    About fifteen minutes. The application cannot be saved, so have your qualification details to hand before you begin.

  • No payment at this stage

    Fees fall due only after admission. You will receive a payment instruction with your decision.

  • Scholarships

    Indicate your interest in this application. A separate scholarship application follows by email. The SCRF Scholarship closes ten days before registration.

Section One Candidate Details

Enter your name exactly as it appears on the identity document you will present at examination.

All correspondence and your Candidate Portal account will use this address.

Used only to verify identity at examination.

Section Two Education and Professional Background

The CSFP Charter is open to graduates of any discipline. This section informs admission and the composition of the intake.

Section Three Programme Selection

Candidates may register for one level at a time or for the full charter. The charter must be completed within two years of first registration.

Entry point

Every fee includes all learning materials and two examination attempts at each level. Fees are stated in US dollars and include all applicable taxes. See the full fee schedule.

Applications for later intakes are held and opened when registration for that intake begins.

A scholarship application is made separately. If you tick this box, the Institute will send you the scholarship form with your acknowledgement.

Section Four Statement and Declaration

A short statement helps the Institute understand what you intend to do with the charter. There is no prescribed form and no advantage in length.

Submitting this application does not create a registration. Admission is confirmed in writing by the Institute, and registration takes effect on receipt of the fee or on the award of a scholarship.

  • Decisions within five working days

    Every application is read by the Institute. You will receive a decision in writing whether or not you are admitted.

  • Your details stay with the Institute

    Application data is held by IISF for the administration of your registration and is not sold or passed to third parties. See the Privacy Policy.

  • Questions before you apply

    Write to admissions@sustainablefinance.in. The Institute replies within three working days.
