Professional Certification
The CSFP and other professional credentials designed to establish rigorous standards for sustainable finance capability.
Equipping finance professionals, institutions, and policymakers with the knowledge, credentials, and practical capabilities to lead the transition toward a resilient, inclusive, and sustainable global economy.
The financial system is being asked to price climate risk, structure sustainable instruments, and allocate capital against long-term outcomes that traditional models were never designed to measure. The commitments have been made. The frameworks exist.
What remains scarce is professional capability: practitioners who can apply these principles with analytical precision inside real institutions, in real markets, under real constraints.
IISF exists to close that gap, translating knowledge, market developments and global frameworks into rigorous professional learning and credentials.
The International Institute for Sustainable Finance (IISF) was established with a singular vision: to build global professional capability for sustainable finance leadership and integrate sustainability into the core of financial systems worldwide.
Grounded in academic rigour and practical application, IISF develops the knowledge, credentials, and professional capabilities required by finance professionals, institutions, and policymakers navigating the transition to sustainable finance.
Our Institutional Philosophy →IISF is guided by principles of academic integrity, professional independence, transparency and inclusivity, with a mandate to advance high-quality education and professional standards in sustainable finance.
IISF is the education, professional certification and capacity-building arm of the Sustainable Capital Research Foundation (SCRF). Together, the institutions connect knowledge with professional capability: SCRF advancing research and intelligence, while IISF develops the professionals who apply it.
